How do we get from Dublin Airport to City Center Hotel?
Answer : There are a number of ways. Taxis are most convienient, costing around €40 .. It can take up to an hour dependong on time of day. By Bus. Dublin Bus runa regualar service costin around €3.00.
By Coach Citylink / Aircoach Costing €10 or €12 There are also services direct from the airport to various parts of Ireland.
How do we see Dublin Easily and Quickly?
Answer: Dublin is a walkablle city, and has a good transport system.

Does Ireland Close At Christmas?
Answer: Yes it does on 24th 25th December and 26th
Some hotels are open but can be expensive. Transport closes down at around 9pm on 24th, opening up for a smaller service on 26th and usually a full service on the 27th. Check your route on Transport for Ireland App. Some taxis do operate on Christmas Day, but the rate will be higher than normal.
Do I need to Book Restaurants?
Answer: Some popular restaurants do need booked usually at the upper end of the market. Most smaller restaurants are walk in unless at busy periods around bank holidays and weekends. Dress code in most places is casual unless stipulated on their website.
I'm Arriving off the Red Eye. Can the hotel store my luggage?
Answer: Yes but they cannot provide a room unless it is booked for the full midnight to the morning of your arrival. If you need luggage storage, without an hotel booking there is a luggager stage facility close to Heuston Station

What is the cheapest way to Book an Hotel?
Answer: Many people swear by Booking Websites for getting a better hotel rate.
Is that true? Yes it can be, if booking sites are offering deals as they sometimes do, but booking sites charge hotels a fee and many hotels will offer a 10% Discount for a direct booking. It's worth checking with your preferreed hotel.
What should I allow as a tip in a restaurant etc.?
Answer: Tipping is a common question in different situations.
For a meal 5 to 10% of the cost is sufficient. Waiting staff are paid a wage in Ireland and the tip covers good service and is discretionary.
For an hotel conserge a tip of €5 to €10 depending on the effort required moving luggage.
